Alma De Cuba
Alma De Cuba is situated in what used to be St. Peter’s Church which first opened in 1788 so you can expect it to be spectacular.
As well as the fanciful food and drink on offer, there are regular events that take place throughout the week.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings play host to live music, Sundays include a live gospel choir singing you through your brunch.
If you’re looking for something a bit more lively, then head over on a Friday or Saturday night after 11pm as they bring out the carnival atmosphere with Samba dancers and excellent resident DJs.

World Museum
For something a little different, head over to the World Museum which is full of fascinating displays from Egyptian mummies to a Planetarium. Check out the dinosaur casts, the live creepy crawlies in Bug House or get your hands on over 20,000 of the most unusual items in the Clore Natural History Centre.
There’s a coffee shop on the ground floor that serves hot and cold food and a café on the fifth floor which offers a wide range of food which you can eat whilst enjoying the views across the city. There is also a gift shop where you can grab a souvenir to remember your date!

Mersey Ferry
Taking the ferry across the Mersey is absolutely something you have to do in Liverpool so why not take a date with you?!
Most cruises are around 50 minutes long, but you get to see Liverpool from a completely different view point.
With stops at Pier Head, Seacombe and Woodside, you can  either disembark and check out what’s on offer, or carry on and do the full 50 minute tour.
If you get off at Pier Head, you can head over to Albert Dock and check out the Beatles Story, if you get off at Seacombe, you can check out Spaceport  – a star-filled attraction with the whole galaxy under one roof and if you get off at Woodside, there’s the U-boat Story  where you can discover what life was like on board a German World War II Submarine.

Known as Liverpool’s most secret bar, 81Ltd is an invite only venue based on a modern day speakeasy.
Your invitation is sent to you by text or email where you will receive a code for the front door of the bar – without it you’re not getting in!
